Jalpaiguri Swapnatoron Welfare Society, established on September 10, 2009, is dedicated to empowering differently-abled individuals, minorities, and women in Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, and Coochbehar districts through vocational training, socio-economic development, and community welfare initiatives.

Our Journey

Since its inception in 2009, Jalpaiguri Swapnatoron Welfare Society has grown from a small initiative to a recognized force for social change, impacting thousands through vocational training, women’s empowerment, and healthcare programs.

2009

Jalpaiguri Swapnatoron Welfare Society founded on September 10, 2009

2010

Registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI of 1961

2012

Launched first vocational training program for persons with disabilities

2012-13

Received West Bengal State Award for outstanding institution in social service

2015

Expanded programs to include women’s empowerment and skill development

2018

Introduced healthcare initiatives including free homeopathic dispensary

2020

Adapted programs to support communities during COVID-19 pandemic

2022

Established Vocational Training Centre under Utkarsha Bangla, Govt. of West Bengal

2023

Reached milestone of training over 500 persons with disabilities

2024

Expanded operations to Darjeeling and Coochbehar districts
