Ramesh, a visually impaired individual from Jalpaiguri, learned photo framing and lamination through our collaboration with Ali Yavar Jung National Institute. He now runs a small framing business, earning a sustainable income and inspiring others in his community.
Sunita, a single mother from Coochbehar, joined our mushroom cultivation program under Utkarsha Bangla. With training and market linkage support, she now leads a cooperative of 10 women, supplying mushrooms to local markets and achieving financial independence.
Our free homeopathic dispensary, supported by K.D. Chowdhury Charitable Trust, provided treatment to over 500 patients in rural Jalpaiguri in 2022-23, including elderly individuals like Gita, who received free medication for chronic ailments.
